Mazza Recycling Opens Brand New, State-Of-The-
Art Single Stream Recycling Facility

On September 10th, Mazza Recycling held their Grand Opening ceremony, in honor of their brand new, state-of-the-art single stream recycling facility. The day consisted of powerful speeches and a ribbon cutting by President James Mazza, Vice President Dominick Mazza, and special guest, Freeholder Director, Tom Arnone. Mazza Recycling’s 55-acre recycling center houses the 70,000 square foot facility, which came to life during the event with food trucks, educational tours, and nearly 150 guests from local Monmouth County municipalities. All of the guests in attendance, including State Senator Vin Gopal, Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso, Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling, members of the Board of Chosen Freeholders, and more showed their support in Mazza’s effort to increase recycling across the region.
The event allowed Mazza to provide local recycling coordinators with continuing education credits towards their recycling careers, with help from our esteemed colleague Assistant District Recycling Coordinator, Jaye Sims. The day was also made possible due to Mazza’s extraordinary team, including Christian Morgan, Chris Bergacs, Casandra Maggio, Kevin Boyle, Chris Noonan, Juan Velazquez, Brynn Mosello and many more. The team hopes this project is the start of many more groundbreaking endeavors that come to fruition, leading to a more sustainable future for the local community and beyond.
